New showreel - The Second One

Ive made a new showreel for this year, you can see it here!

TED-Ed Floaters

This is the TED-Ed short film about Floaters I did for Reflective Films. I designed, boarded and animated this and you can see it here.

Dinosaur Battles

Last Wednesday my son gave me a drawing and asked me to animate it. He then told me exactly what should happen then asked when will it be ready. So I did it that evening and posted it ready for the morning, this is it on vimeo and on you tube.

Animation Microshort

I did another short animation for the Vimeo fullsecs rumble, you can see it here.

You Tube

I have finally put some videos up on my neglected You Tube page. I do prefer Vimeo but You Tube is quite instant. Plus the stats are ace, I love stats :D

Short Short

Here is another short short on vimeo I did last night.

Walk Cycle

Here is the walk cycle of the little boy in the Looshkin animation. 6 drawings. It's kinda 3/4 and fast funny. That was what I was going for. Design by Jamie Smart.

Looshkin the Video

This is an image from Jamie Smart for the short which I did the animation for, you can see it here!!!
Jamie also did a lovely blog about it here. I did the animation in my spare time, it was on hold for about 6 months whilst I was doing the Chapman project at home in the evenings. Looshkin has taken so long to do as Ive been doing a bit now and then but I have loved every minute of it. Ben Mitchell finished it off lovely with the music :D

Film Company Ident

Here is a title ident I designed for a short film company. Compositing by Mr Peter.

Community Champions animation

This is a still from the advert I did for Heavenly. You can see it here. It was done in Flash and comped in After Effects by Mr Paul to give it the chalky line effect.

Technomonster

Here is another link to some animation by me, see it here.

Some Animation by Me

Here is a still of a short animated by me for A Productions and Lambie Nairn. You can see it here. I originally made the Idea writing grow with the balloon but was asked to change it. Gotta keep the clients happy.

Encounters Trailer

I forgot to post a link to the trailer for the Encounters film festival. Here tis.

(I animated the men, and sat through loads of archive footage, Mr Paul did everything else)

VHS capture

Here is an old (captured from VHS) pic of some 2D drawn animation I did quite a while ago. It was for Dog and Duck.
